Hey All Foodie Lovers — Chef Bari here.
Thought to mention a few things before the Christmas Season rush. First and foremost I would like to express my gratitude to all the Healthcare Workers who have worked so hard during these strange times, providing care to the sick.
As well, shout out and thank you to all the Teachers, carrying for our children and grandchildren during these tough couple of years. My cookbook “ Canadian Recipes of the Great White North” is not only for adults, it’s meant for children too ! I have colouring pages and cute wildlife illustrations made specifically for children. In fact, I began writing and planning my book in respect and honour to our daughter Jenni, who died suddenly due to Kawasaki syndrome. Remembering the days with her, hiking in Banff National Park, it was evident she loved the outdoors. Hence the “ Camping Outdoors for the Whole Family”.
Canadian Recipes of the Great White North is not only about the Outdoors, it has a “Home Sweet Home” Chapter, showcasing signature recipes during my time in restaurants as Executive Chef.
With Christmas 2021 just a month away, my book is a prefect gift for anyone in your family, including friends. Teachers can read interesting outdoor adventures I’ve had to their class. As well, Canadian Recipes of the Great White North makes an excellent souvenir book across the world.
As a matter of fact, so grateful for the recently sales in Japan 🙏. Apparently my cookbook is also used in their classroom to showcase Canada while reading English to the students. So, thank you to all the Japanese, who have choose my book. I dearly appreciate your support.
Every year I try to reach $5000 in sales so I can donate 10% to Stollery Children’s Hospital, via The Stollery Childrens Foundation. The more sales, the higher the donation. Of course it’s in tribute to helping the sick children. Their commitment to providing the best equipment and research for our children is indeed an important role to us all. Unfortunately the research wasn’t around for Jenni, but today Kawasaki syndrome is fought back by increasingly new discoveries through medical prevention.
So — if there’s one goal I would like to reach this year, is to be able to donate once again to The Stollery Children’s Foundation. Please help me reach this important goal.

I dearly appreciate your help and support and have a MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄 to All.
