If you won two free plane tickets, where would you go?
Why Italy of course 🤩 My Mom born in the Abruzzo Region of Southern Italy, it’s only fitting I visited her homeland. I remember her saying,” Once you’re older we will take a trip back home and I can really show you different types of authentic Italian food, the wonderful countryside and the pristine blue sea.” Unfortunately she died in her thirties, leaving my sister Sabrina and I stranded with our ill tempered father. Due to our father’s family feud with our grandparents, we lost all contact from our Italian side. A few years later Grandpa Varze died too ; however, this time we paid our respects, meetings the Italian family once again. However, with my Mom and Grandpa Varze gone, it just wasn’t the same.
That being said, if I had a choice to go to Italy, it would be nice to meet our distant relatives. Hopefully we could explore Rome, Pompeii, Abruzzo Region of Southern Italy and the pristine turquoise sea along Sardinia and Capri. Of course I love to try all the Italian cuisine offered throughout Italy.
Going to Italy would be an expensive adventure, so I am not too sure if I can swing the costs. However, two free, first class plane tickets would certainly help with the costs.
