Writing takes commitment and time ; that being said, it’s satisfying when I hear fans spent their time to buy my books. As a Chef, my first book was to publish my signature cookbook, named “ Canadian Recipes of the Great White North “ . The Theme was an important factor, featuring The Great Outdoors and campfire fun for the whole family. After our daughter Jenni died, I wanted to keep her spirit alive, by hiring illustrator Diane Lucas from Nova Scotia, to draw cute baby wildlife illustrations, so children of all ages can enjoy reading my book too ; it even has colouring book pages. Canadian Recipes of the Great White North was a stepping stone to future writing possibilities. After years of research and taking further writing classes, I was ready to begin writing my science-fiction book “ Black Angels” ; it just came out this year.
