Chocolate Chip Cookies

Good Morning My Friends!

I just realized I don’t have my Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe ; So — without further ado— here’s it is 👇

Preheat OVEN to 375 degrees F

Ingredients:

1 cup of Butter ( room temperature)

1/2 cup of Brown Sugar ( my video does says 1 cup but I’m cutting back the sugar)

1/2 cup of Sugar

1 1/2 teaspoon of Vanilla

2 eggs

In separate bowl ( DRY Ingredients) :

2 cups of Flour ( sifted)

1 tablespoon of Cornstarch

1 teaspoon of Baking Soda

1/2 teaspoon of Salt

2 cups of Chocolate Chips ( If you like you can add only 1 cup ; however I love all the chocolate in my cookies )

Optional: 1/4 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts

NOTE : You don’t have to make them as big but I did so for my grandkids. Smaller variety won’t spread out much, which is your typical style of chocolate chip cookie brand.

Cookie Monster Type Chocolate Chip Cookies ( BIG on Purpose)

Method:

Sift all the dry ingredients together in separate bowl. Set to the side.

Cream the butter by hand w/ wire whip or use mixer

Add brown sugar, white sugar and vanilla. Mix until nice and smooth.

Add 2 eggs and incorporate into the mixture.

NOW — slowly add the flour mixture until all mixed throughout evenly.

Add 2 cups of Chocolate Chips

Using scoop ( or by hand roll into balls ) and place on baking sheet — See my video

Flatten each ball slightly

Place in preheated oven 375 degrees F for 10 – 12 minutes. Because I’m doing Cookie Monster Chocolate Chip Cookies it took 12 minutes.

Bring out and let cool ; after 3 minutes place onto wooden board or tray

Enjoying with a glass of cold milk , hot chocolate or making Al La mode ( ice cream on top of giant cookie) or make a ice cream sandwich— your choice.

My grandkids were the taste testers — see my video 👇

Cheers !
